Margaret and Paul- Cambo House Wedding

Margaret and Paul’s amazing wedding at the stunning Cambo House in Kingsbarn, Fife, Scotland.

What a venue, with lovely staff (yes, you Louise!)- hired all weekend for the wedding. We got some great weather, a tiny bit of rain but that didn’t stop everyone having one of the best weekends ever.

I travelled up to Kingsbarn the day before the wedding, met Margaret and Paul and ran through the final details for the big day, before heading off to my accommodation in nearby Crail, and nipping out to sample the AMAZING fish and chips at the Crail Fish Bar and Cafe with my friend Mike, who was shooting the wedding with me. A must visit!

So, the big day came and Mike and I headed off to start photographing the preparations, little details and everything associated with the wedding. There were lots of things to photograph, Margaret’s stunning dress, the table details (all amazingly hand made by Margaret’s friend Audrey), and of course, Cambo itself.

It’s so beautiful, just begging to be photographed!

Mike headed off to catch Paul, wee Thomas and the rest of the boys getting ready, whilst I caught up with the girls, who were all in a great, relaxed mood. Perfect for documentary wedding photography!

With everyone ready, it was time to head off to sunny St Andrews for the ceremony, which was really nice, in the beautiful St James Church. Margaret arrived to a rather large crowd of onlookers, with St Andrews being very busy!

With the ceremony done, the new Mr and Mrs McCarney greeted their guests outside in the sun, then we headed off to the Old Course at St Andrews, the home of golf, as Paul is a big golf fan. I don’t know who was buzzing more, me or Paul. What a buzz shooting on the actual course!!

Time to head back to Cambo for a reception which they’ll never forget.

The band Sahara kept the dance floor BUSY, all night. They were fantastic!

Check it a LOT of images from the day below.

Huge thanks to Margaret and Paul for having me along for the ride, and to everyone on the day for making us so welcome.
