Days Sixteen to Nineteen
So, life got in the way and I fell behind again on this blog. No matter, I still had my X100V with me and took lots of photographs. This, like the last one, is a mash up of a few days. Days feel like that at the moment anyway, dont they?
Saturday 4th April was supposed to be my first wedding of 2020, for the amazing Vikki and Ryan, but Covid 19 put paid to it, much like a LOT more I have lined up for 2020. Feel so bad for all the couples in 2020, what a shitshow what’s happened.
I am so lucky though, as like Vikki and Ryan, everyone has been so understanding and postponed, rather than cancelling. Such amazing people I will be lucky to work for very soon.
So, we’ll get there!
Saturday- Off to work during the day. Home to Alyson and the kids, and a great dinner, and evening at home.
Sunday- Up and about and in the garden, doing all that sort of grown up stuff, chatted to our neighbour pals, before nightshift at work.
Monday- home from nightshift and into some workouts with the kids and Joe Wicks on YouTube, more home schooling (just a little to keep the kids ticking over) before nightshift again. On arrival at Johnstone Fire Station I saw some cool light, so snapped a few photographs before my shift started. I really like these photos.
Tuesday-Joe Wicks workout with the kids and Alyson as she was off. We were also in the garden again and working away, as well as entertaining the kids. Had a quick wedding consultation zoom call with two really cool people before dinner and watching ‘The Nest’ on BBC 1. SO good, get it watched if you haven’t already.
Wednesday- Alyson back to work, more Joe Wicks in the morning. Eilidh asked to watch some music on YouTube after this, and chose U2’s ‘Zoo TV live from Sydney’ (I shit you not) which pleased her old Dad no end. She’s really showing an interest in music now.
The weather a bit shit at times but still out in the garden, some home schooling, and dinner and ‘Homeland’. More wedding enquiries coming in as well, again for 2021- great stuff!
Lots of photos, all with the Fujifilm X100V.
Stay safe!
