Caravanning!

When I started this website I always wanted an area where I could ramble on, do blogs on camera gear, or whatever I was photographing, be it weddings or gigs, or just anything in general.

Personal blogs like this- maybe some would say not to have them on a site with say ‘paid work’ as it maybe doesn’t make it all cohesive, or whatever.

I say bollocks to all that- so here is my first ramble and lots of images from a little holiday we had a month or two back, in Dunoon, across the River Clyde from where we live in Gourock. We had use of a good friend’s caravan, so used that as a base and had a great couple of days as a family, heading off in the car for a day at the beach, and back to the caravan for fish and chips, beers and such like.

The best of times, basically.

For you camera geeks, everything is shot with the Fujifilm GFX50R, GF50mm F3.5, and the X-T3 and 16mm F1.4. I edited the colour RAW files with the new ‘Classic Negative’ film simulation that is available in the new X-Pro 3, which I don’t have (yet) so I got a file that simulates it.

Hope you enjoy the photos, what a brilliant weekend.

Huge thanks to our pal G for the use of the Caravan.
